I had this cutie in my studio this past weekend and he was such a joy to work with. He always had a smile on his face. He was just soo cute!
Don't get me wrong, I do like posed photos but the more time I spend doing photography, I think I love those lifestyle photos even more. Where you can get that natural smile of a baby and you can just feel their joy coming thru the photo. This photo of a dad with his daughter is probably one of my favorite.
I do enjoy having these mini sessions, because it gives me the opportunity to catch up with some of my families.
I can't believe I forgot to post this earlier but when one of your closest friends ask you to take photos of her baby's first cake smash, how could you say no, especially when you love cake smashes. They are always so funny to watch. Keep in mind, my friend is a huge Star Wars fan so the cake smash was all about Star Wars.
We are actually in spring and we are getting our first snow storm. I am not sure what mother nature is thinking. At least it was nice to have the day off today. What did I decide to do, I decided to dress my little baby in her little bear outfit and take photos of her. I figured by next winter she would be too big for this outfit and today would be the last opportunity to really use it before the sun finally comes out....I hope.
I met this family thru prior clients and they were some of the sweetest people ever. Their little girl was so cute with the big curls and those big blue eyes and of course her new little brother was a perfect model
My family must of been struck by baby fever because 5 of us had babies back to back. Baby E was the last one we were waiting for. I'm so happy for you cuz.
This beautiful couple decided to brave the harsh cold last weekend and headed down to Occoquan for a maternity shoot. A few pictures from the shoot
